because i've been hearing a little of everything. people say it's at 16. but then i hear krogers hires at 14. and then my friend asked if i wanted to come work with him at burger king. i said no because i couldnt because im 15 and he said all i needed was a permit and i couldn't be back in the kitchen. what is this permit he speaks of?

kroger actually hires at 15 & up he's speaking of a work permit that you have to get to be able to work but you have to be at least 15 to work at some places good luck on finding a JOB

It depends on the field. Entertainment = no age limitations. Farming = varies from state to state, usually 14 Most states, it's 15 with working papers from your school. Some employers may have their own rules
