I have Verizon Wireless and i ordered an unlocked LG Cookie ( a phone from Europe ), will this phone work in the United States if i do not have internet on my phone?

yes it will but you have to contact your telephone service provider, there you can communicate them regarding the plan you can opt with your new cell phone. Rdz,,!

The LG Cookie is a GSM phone. Verizon is a CDMA network. I think that you may encounter a slight problem.

The phone you ordered is incompatible with your network. It will not work. You are pretty much stuck with Verizon phones until they use the GSM protocol.

It will not work with Verizon. First, it's a GSM phone and incompatible with Verizon. Second, Verizon will only activate Verizon-branded phones.
