Will a Playstation 3 or Wii purchased in the United States work in Singapore?

Yes, but you must get a voltage adapter/converter....

Yes, they will work. But you must have a voltage converter for the different outlets, and you will only be able to play games made for the US console. Actually, some TVs in Singapore might even be incompatible. The video system is PAL, not NTSC as in the United States. Most foreign TVs will accept the signal, but not all. Good luck.

yes and no. as long as you buy games from the US and you have a voltage/plug adapter, then you can, but you won't be able to play games from Singapore. you can still connect to the internet and download the old games, but since the file systems are different (US is NTSB and I'm not sure what Singapore is, but I think it's FAT?), you will have to order games from the US. don't get one from another country.
