I am aware of "Visa" however the Visa available to her is for 3 months. She needs a Visa for 2/3 years for work/school purposes. Is this possible? Also, will marriage help any? I AM NOT INTERESTED IN MARRYING THE GIRL. This is a question I am asking for my sister. There's no such visa. There's a work visa for college educated professionals with 2 years experience. This visa is booked full through 2009. There's a student visa that offers very, very limited ability to earn a few dollars spending money. To get this visa she must prove she has the ability to support herself and pay for her education in the United States without needing to work. A 3 month tourist visa will not allow her to work and it will not allow her to attend school. A REAL marriage would allow her the opportunity to immigrate to the United States if found eligible by the US Consulate in Russia. A fake marriage would get her deported and the guy convicted of visa fraud.
