I'm currently deployed to Iraq. Hacked satellite receivers and dishes that receive hundreds of channels are readily available. Will one of them work if set up in the United States? I know many other service members have probably tried to bring them back to the States in the past, so I'm hoping someone knows someone who has tried.

Are you so poor you can't buy another satellite dish in the US? Seems like too much of a hassle to bring a satellite dish all the way from Iraq.
