I've been in spain for the last 6 months. And i bought a little prepaid vodafone phone. Is there a way i can make it work when im back in the US? I don wanna only keep the phone, i want to keep the same number and contacts and everything. I basically want it to work normally but in the US. So i can keep in touch with all of my friends in Europe.

What is the easiest way to get a visa as a foreigner who wants to work in the United States?
I work for an international company and would like to transfer, I am curious since the company cannot support/sponsor my visa because i am not in a management position.......this is a hotel and I am looking to gain experience and perhaps stay for a new experience....what type of visa do I apply for?

You need to apply for an H1B visa but unless you are a college graduate in one of a handful of specialty occupations your chances of getting one are just about zero.

You cannot apply for work visa in the US. Generally you will need an employer who sponsors you for a work visa. They can only do this if they can show that they can't find US citizens willing or able to do the job. You could see if a branch of your company in the US would be willing to employ you as I assume you could get a recommendation. But it will depend on your job qualifications and experience. If you have a degree it is definitely much easier and it also helps if you have proven yourself to be excellent at your job.

That's right - you do not have sufficient education and experience and a high enough position in your company to qualify for a transfer to one of their offices/operations in another country. In your field, you do not qualify for an H1-b visa, either. That's only for those in high-tech fields, with at least a bachelors degree and a minimum of 2 years experience. Nothing in the travel/tourism field qualifies. Furthermore, the US has laid off tens of thousands of people in travel/tourism, and there is no need for any foreign workers in the industry. Over 31 million Americans are currently looking for jobs. The real unemployment rate is 22.6%. It is very difficult for any company to justify the high costs in time, money and hassles to obtain an employment visa. Americans are readily available, and cheaper. can i work here in united states using my social security card?
i have no working permit yet but i have social security card marked that valid for work only and DHS autorization.

how old are you? you only need a work permitt if you are under age.
