Not likely that you qualify for a visa. Information on immigration here: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis
2 :
There are multiple ways that a non-US citizen can come and live in the US. 1) Work Visa. 2) Student Visa. (Temporary) 3) Green Card Lottery. 4) Corporation. 5) Asylum. 1) Work Visa, You will have to get a company, here is the US to send you a contract stating that they would like you to come and work for them, based on your specific expertise. You will have to work for them for a certain period of time (not the extent of the contract, I believe it is 5 years, a period set by USCIS) and after that you will get your green card and you can then quit and work any where else. 2) Student Visa, it is along the same lines of the work visa except it is to study. You will have to be accepted by a college or a university in the US in order to apply. The down side of this is that its temporary, as soon as you graduate, you will have to go back. 3) The Green Card Diversity Lottery is possibly the best way to come to the US. You apply in May from your country and they respond in a couple of month. The only down side is that it is by chance. Out of the number of people that do win, they choose about half who are qualified, and educated, and they give them green cards as soon as they come to the US. IN retrospect, This is the most cost-effective way to migrate to the US. 4) The Corporation is interesting. To do it, you have to be an owner or a manager of a company in your home country and say that you would like to open a branch in the US. Generally USCIS, the company's fund needs to be above a million dollars to be taken seriously at all, because there is no point of opening in a new country if you don't make that much money. This is possibly the least cost effective of all the ways. 5) Asylum. In order for you apply for asylum you will need to be from a country where there is discrimination from a specific group of people. For example, Christians in a Muslim country, Homosexuals in an intolerant country, Palestinians in Israel...etc. You will have to prove a) that you belong to that group b) that you were discriminated again c) that going back home will put your life and the lives of your family in danger. Other than those 5 ways, there is no way that you can live in the US and achieve Citizen ship.

To obtain Permanent Immigrant Visa, you need a sponsor who must file Petition for you. http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/types/types_1326.html
4 :
Pick a visa There are basically NINE ways that you can get a visa to live and work in the US: (1) Marriage (or engagement in anticipation of marriage) to a US citizen. (2) You have skills that are in short supply in the US e.g. scientific or medical training. A degree is normally a must. Or you have superior specialist skills with at least 12 years experience. (H visas) (3) You have an Employer who is willing to transfer you - but even the employer has to make a good case for you - so you have to be a manager unless you fall under category (2) above.(L visas) (4) You may get a Green card in the diversity lottery (UK citizens, except N.Ireland, are not generally eligible unless you, your spouse or parents were born abroad or held a different citizenship. (5)You own or buy business (does not get you permanent resident status i.e. no green card)You must be a national of a qualifying Treaty countries. The business must have a minimum value of around $150k (more the better) bearing in mind you will need somewhere to live and with any startup business you will need at least 2 years living money as back up. So a figure of $350k would be a nearer minimum (E-2 visas) (6)You are an "investor" i.e. you have at least US $1m in assets to bring with you. half of that in a few areas. And your background will be investigated to the hilt. (EB-5 visas) (7)You have a close relative (mother, father, brother, sister and no further) who is an US citizen who would sponsor you, approx time this take 2-12 years? (8.The R1 visa is available to foreign members of religious denominations, having bona fide non-profit religious organizations in the U.S., for entering the U.S. to carry on the activities of a minister or religious worker as a profession, occupation or vocation (9)THE UNUSUAL You are in a position to claim refugee status/political asylum. or You get a member of Congress to sponsor a private bill with legislation that applies just to you. The S visa issued to persons who assist US law enforcement to investigate and prosecute crimes and terrorist activities such as money laundering and organized crime Recruitment agent will not take you seriously if you are not already in the US. Writing for jobs is really a waste of time; likewise US employers have no idea what foreign qualification are or mean (except Degrees) it may pay you to get your qualification translated into a US equivalent, there are Companies that do this (www.wes.org) .. But if you are getting a visa under (2) above then you need a job offer before you can get the visa. Your Employer will be your sponsor this will cost them upward of $5k. So you can see you have to be offering something really special to get considered They may also have to prove to the Dept of labor that there is no American who can do the job if the position is to be permanent ©

People here are not provided with anything, unless your an immigrant, and they get freebees out the butt. Most real Americans have worked for everything they have. Do you have a trade? Can you come here and be productive?
2 :
be prepared for the worst, and really research where you plan to live. some parts of the usa the economy really sucks, my fiance' has been out of the navy for ten months and is still searching for a job. Your best bet is to have some sort of higher education.
3 :
I would try to do as much research on the Internet as possible about moving here from another country or obtaining a work visa. In all honesty, if you do get the opportunity to come to the USA, please learn to speak the language, respect our laws and people and be proud to live here. Good Luck!

You would be surprised how many people immigrate to the US with the objective of living the good life only to be disillusioned and go back to their country of origin. If you think this is an easy place in which to do well, think again. You have to work your tail off just to make ends meet. And all those benefits you get from the government were you live now? Well they don't exist here. You want the necessities of life including health care, you work for it. and if you can't afford it, you don't have it
5 :
There's tons of jobs, people will get a job and just quit cause they don't like a coworker, same day. Then get another job. Jobs are easy to find, employees that aren't total flakes are the problem.
6 :
To get into the U.S., first buy a plane ticket to Tijuana, Mexico. Then, find a hole in the border fence and crawl though it. Don't worry about getting caught--and even if you are it's not a problem-- because the U.S. no longer has the political will to stop invaders, especially when they come in small groups at night. We have 12-14 million invaders in just the last decade or so from just one country, and no one in power seems to care. It will be easy for you to get a job. The U.S. is filled corrupt businessmen who would prefer slaves, but who settle for paying sub-standard wages to poor, ignorant Mexicans or other illegals. These businessmen (and some politicians) say these jobs must go to illegals because Americans don't want the jobs. This is a lie. The business people are just unwilling to pay honest wages. There would be plenty Americans workers if the pay was right. Corrupt business people prefer to exploit ignorant workers since it increases their profits. You can get one of these low paying jobs if you wish. Businessmen have created plenty of them. Tips: It would be best if your wife is 9 months pregnant and has the child on the U.S. side of the fence. Your child will be an automatic U.S. Citizen and that's worth a lot of money in terms of welfare payments, education, heath care etc. If you think you might get caught for being an illegal, go to a Catholic or Methodist church, even if you're Muslim. These churches don't think U.S. laws apply to them and will hide you and feed you. If you want to become famous in America, and to delay deportation (which probably won't happen anyway) go on a speaking tour. Tell CNN that Americans are racists. It's not true, of course. but it makes some Americans feel guilty, and they will be on your side. And remember, making others feel guilty for all the wrong reasons will always put money in your pocket. /

Depends. Where do you live now? You'll have to find an employer willing to sponsor you, or a spouse. I know there are some casinos in Las Vegas or Reno, Nevada which have summer employment plans for people, especially from Europe. Also, you might be able to join the US military. I was in the Air Force and served with a guy from the Phillipines. Good luck!
8 :
You are mistaken. They are not well-provided for. Expensive, unaffordable health care, cost of everything is sky high, when pay stays the same year after year. They work damn hard for what they do have. Don't come thinking it's an easy life. Come for a visit and see all the homeless people who are not "provided" for. See the sick people who cannot get proper care.

You should learn a skill or have an education in a field that is in need of in the USA. This way you could apply for a job before getting here an would have a sponsor .

Psp's bought in the UK can only read PAL games. PAL games are sold in the UK. Psp's bought in Canada or the US can only read NTSC games. Games sold in the US/Canada are NTSC versions. This also goes for most other consoles like the Wii. So, bottom line, if you buy your psp in the US, then it will only play games that you buy from the us; it's won't play games you buy in the UK.
